Renovated in 1996 in collaboration with Riverside Community Care, this four-unit house is home to adults receiving services and support through the Department of Mental Health (DMH). Residents live independently while benefitting from guidance and opportunities in education, employment and housing provided by Elliot House, a clubhouse program operated by Riverside. Boylston Street is one of the few affordable housing options dedicated to DMH clients in the community. The Newton Housing Authority provides Section 8 rental subsidies for residents.
