The John W. Weeks House is a beautifully renovated gothic-revival junior high school with 67 mixed-income apartments for seniors who fall within the income guidelines. Myrtle Village Wait List
Myrtle Village features seven garden-style apartments conveniently located in a neighborhood setting, assigned parking, easy access to Route 128, Massachusetts Turnpike, and downtown Boston. Public transportation, including express bus and train within walking distance as well as to West Newton Square. Income limits apply and applications for the 1, 2, and 3-bedroom apartments are accepted on an on-going basis.
Houghton Village WorkForce Housing Program Waitlist
Houghton Village, a 50-unit townhouse community located at 27 – 80 Hamlet Street in Newton Centre is accepting rental applications for its 2, 3 and 4-bedroom waitlist for the Workforce Housing Program (10 units). Spacious apartments featuring washer/dryer hookup in unit, semi-private rear patio and all appliances included. Walking distance to MBTA, shopping and dining in Chestnut Hill and Newton Centre. Houghton Village is home to the NCDF Youth Center, offering programs and activities for young residents.
Households must be income eligible for the Workforce Housing Program which is available through financing under the guidelines of MassHousing. Rents are established at below market rates and do not change based on applicant’s income.
